I continually receive numerous calls from people wanting more information on FRAXEL® laser treatments. In the past, all we had to offer a patient with acne scars was skin abrasion or the old technology of laser resurfacing, which both had a lot of downtime and a lot of risks associated with those procedures. Depending on your desired results (eliminating hyperpigmentation, reducing wrinkles, softening acne scars) the number of treatments needed varies.
